Prince of Persia Review

Have you ever dreamt of a game with open world gameplay , Awesome partner whos a beutiful princess and you could NEVER DIE?! This game is the right one for you! if you're having problems executing fast combos and chaining them and do little benefit to you.

Unlike the old prince of persia series..ubisoft came out in a new story and this had nothing to do with the old prince of persia series...The main character isnt really a prince..the game itself refers him as "prince" and it could be seen in guides , tips and even in the manual. In this game..you had a partner named Elika , she's a princess of the city who seals the evil god of darkness Ahriman in a tree in the temple...Shes like the BEST partner ever..she can kick the enemies ass while pressing triangle and she COULD save you from almost any attack and even if you drop she will save you from almost every ledge you missed.. even if the enemy had knock you down and you press the wrong button and your enemy is gonna end your life...she saves you without FAIL but in return the enemy's life will replenish to like a quarter a bar..

The graphics were awesome for a cell shaded type and looks almost realistic and many casual gamers who are anime fans will love this . Button mashing is a sin in this game and it prevents you from making and chaining more combos so many button mashers who played o2 jam or DJ max will find it complicated and a litlle hard to get used to...The main aim to cell shade the graphics in this game is to let you enjoy the scenery of the entire MAP and giving you even frame rate..

The enemies you were fighting against were known as the "corruption" and they were Ahriman's minions..and each of them were once a high leveled citizen of this city and they turned to Ahriman to their fantasies and end up being his minions...In this game you dont encounter enemies just like Devil May Cry ...you always had to One on One with them and those normal minions came out pretty little and quite sometimes you see them spawning in their area and they had a BIG BOSS like life bar right below you but all u gotta do is either shove them off the cliff or hit em until they die and that will take you quite a while..The map shows the entire region of the city and each and every dot theres a boss fight and theres only 4 bosses...and you had to encounter them over and over again but you had to use diffrent tactics agains them because of the enviromental change..This time you dont have to find your way but Elika could just show you the way and its similar as Isaac Clarke's holographic GPS system..

You could always talk to Elika when you're bored or sometimes after finishing a task by pressing a specific button..The Prince sometimes shows some CONFLICT of INTREST in Elika and slowly in the game you could even find Elika having intrest in the prince too...like when the prince fell down and after saving him...she will be like ' pls dont die when im starting to like you' 'you're lucky (in a sexy tone)' or sometimes when both of you are on a horizontal pole and you need to go to the other way...the way you switch places with Elika is kinda akward ... and Elika will say "haha having fun?' or sometimes if you catch her off the ledge or something she will be like 'hmmm didnt know you're such a gentlemen' and sometimes the Prince will crack out jokes against the enemies or sometimes he whines when Elika holds on to his back while sliding down saying' ARGH! you're heavier than you look!' or 'ouch! dont dig your nails in me'

Overall the gameplay isn't as much as a Hack and Slash and It was more like Assasin's creed One on One with your enemies and its sometimes fustrating to collect power seeds to unlock the next level...but the graphics were great , the framerate is smooth , the enemies are beutifully crafted and designed and you could never die..but its less chalenging and no long loading time ( thats whats the cell shading for)..

the score is..............7/10

This game is recomended for Prince of Persia fans or casual gamers , anime fans , and STRICTLY not for Hardcore people....(cos they would end up whining saying its too easy)
