Infamous Review

Graphics: 8.5/10

Graphics are really good for a sandbox game, I find myself just going around and trying to see the environment, they have done a very good job for graphics. Then when you actually combine the lightning effects to it, the game looks much cooler. Graphics for this game will not disappoint you at all, even during the cut-scenes the comic-book like feel looks very good too. Over-all the game does look very pretty indeed, so if you're a big fan of nice graphics you probably will enjoy this game.

Gameplay: 8/10

The gameplay seems familiar but at the same time it feels unique, kind of hard to explain. Basically every Sandbox game has the same feel to it, but inFamous has a special feel to it. The movement is incredibly smooth, and very fun. I find myself just wanting to climb buildings or jump from roof to roof 'cause it's that much fun. As for your powers, at first they are fun but once you start unlocking other powers they all seem alike but just slightly different looks to them. Seems like you're constantly pointing and shooting, which I can see why people would like it and hate it. Really the only melee moves you have your basic melee moves which is used by pressing "square" over and over to combo. Also you can jump and press "square" to do a landing that blasts lightning around you when you land hurting foes all near you. Higher up you jump from, bigger the blast radius. As for Story/Side missions, they do get repetitive because there are only a handful of missions and you repeat them over time.

Story: 9/10

The story does remind me of a story that would be in a comic book, it is very good and interesting. I do not want to release any info on the story, I would like you all to play the game to find it out. Myself, I have never been a big fan of story modes in games, or just doing the story in sandbox games unless I had too. In inFamous I actually enjoy doing the story, makes me keep wanting more after every story mission you do. All I can say though, during the story there are some twists that may surprise you a little :D

Sound: 7/10

The music and sound within the game is not amazing but it's also not bad at all. I'd say it as average for a game like this, nothing too special. As for the voice acting, Cole (main character) does a decent job. Though his partners Trish and Zeke does an alright job, even though Zeke is very annoying in the game.

Overall: 8.5/10

I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who owns a PS3, either to rent or buy. You can put many hours into this game easily, it does have a lot of replay value. I would say this is one of my favorite PS3 exclusives so far, and I would very much like to see a sequel to the game. So if you got sixty dollars laying around go pick up a copy of inFamous and you won't regret it!

(it is my cousin who did the review not me.he was bored so i just let him)

Maplestory Review

Maplestory is a 2D sidescrolling MMORPG..In maplestory , there are a wide selection of classes known as "jobs" such as Wariors , Magicians , Archers , Thieves , Gunslingers , and Pirates..Each and every job has its characteristics just like magicians , they could freeze monsters teleport next to them and flank other mobs at medium range and wariors could build up their combo damage multiplier and makes their damage stronger and archers are devasasting at long range but you'll most likely to bang your buck when mobs comes at close range and Thieves could throw shurikens and strike with daggers with quick attack speed. The map is a sidescrolling map and when you wanna go to another map or something , you'll have to press up on magic portals . The entire maple world is made out of chains of maps with will lead you to diffrent places and diffrent worlds.

The movement of your character is simulated throught your keyboard..that means you dont have to youse your mouse here.. your character cant run they can only walk and you have to arm yourself with a weapon to attack..you cant even run but you could WALK faster by flash jumping , teleporting , potions , skills and etc.Your character 's apearance had a big stubby head and a SMALL body and girls are REALLY FLAT CHESTED in this game with dosnt simulates real life. Your HUD 'heads up display' had simple compartments . your level and job is on the left followed by your HP and Mp bar and on the right was your quickslot inventory and your EXP bar.

The monsters were cute and sometimes ugly and plain retarded the monster's AI was really dumb and they attack on sight or either attack when disturbed. You will gain damage if they touch you or they use their skills. Low leveled monsters will just try to touch you until you die =.= . Your combat system can only hit one monster at a time but other skills will let you hit more . There isnt any lockon and theres a slight pushback effect once the enmy recieves an effective hit . Each time you hit a monster a REALLY large damage counter comes out from your attack and pink and larger ones are critical damages. Each time you level up there're be 2 things the players might wanna do . they will add their stats to increase their damage and effeciency and start adding skill points that improves that skill . Quest in this game isn't rewarding at all and the ENTIRE point of this game is just GRIND AND GRIND AND GRIND until you reach a certain level and GRIND AND GRIND AND GRIND...This game makes me feels like theres no perpose for you here...nothing you could do but to press the same button over a thousand times..This that what makes it boring...BUT to casual gamers...they will find this game REALLY INTRESTING AND ADDICTIVE . When you die you actually loose experiece and really gets owned after dying after all that hours spent on your character was gone..

Items and Equipments were being sold from level 1 to 50 in shops any items above that , you had to hunt for yourselves. Upgrading your items is a Pain in the ass...You had to buy scrolls from players or hunt them yourself which is extremely rare and unpredictable . Theres a diffrent sucess rate for each and every scroll which you want to use on your item . Your item has a few slots for upgrades . The if the scrolls pass..you get a little extra amount of damage or stat to your item while taking away 1 slot if it fails...it just wastes your time and takes away 1 slot too..Theres another scroll which is cursed and has a 10% higher rate to suceed but if it fails...IT COMPLETELY destroys your item . This is a real problem for many players and if they keep hunting for this scroll they will be playing that game forever...Thats why the developers are GETTING their real money from cheap costs from this game...There are even things that could boost your exp gains and prevents you from dying.

There are 2 diffrent type of items. cash items and normal items...Normal items are practically armour from those middle ages and all that and CASH items are actually clothes from the 21st century and they DO nothing and it just makes you look good..the cash item masks over your normal item and making you look GOOD and still having the stats..which i think its a total waste of money because these cash items will expire in 1 or 3 months..You cant even choose your colour for the items and even CHANGING HAIR needs RM50++..and although it could last forever...the coulour needs another extra RM 20++..I still dont get it why they had this type of system...although the new episode 2 patch has more value and lowered price...I still think its a waste of time..

I have two ratings for this game from diffrent point of views

HARDCORE GAMER :

PROS
2D hack and slash type of gameplay
VERY LARGE DAMAGE INDICATORS

CONS
BAD GRAPHICS , RETARDED AI MONSTERS , BAD ECONOMIC ORGANISING , NO PERPOSE IN THIS GAME AND NEVER ENDING GRINDING UNTIL LEVEL 200 NO PVP

3/10

CASUAL GAMER / LALA GAMER /NON GAMER:

PROS:
CUTE CHARACTERS , NICE 2D BACKGROUNDS , ADDICTIVE ,LARGE VERIETY OF CLOTHES , NICE GAME TO WASTE MONEY AND TIME AND COULD GET REALLY FAMOUS BY YOUR LEVEL

CONS :
NOTHING!!!

8/10

Way to improve on GAMING!

This post is specially dedicated to how to be better in games well not in a sports category but rather the computer GAMING category.

When it comes to gaming , playing the game for a long time does not mean you're a veteran it simply labels you as experienced gamer , the difference between a veteran and a experienced gamer is that veteran are very built in as they know head to toe about the game from damage counting all the way to the Easter eggs in the game , experienced gamer are just people who play it a lot though they know head to toe and all the Easters they do not really know how to utilize all the tools and trades of gaming for example a veteran Warcraft 3 player have a big difference between an experienced Warcraft 3 player the veteran knows which armor is which and which damage type each unit uses where as the experienced only know the units and does not bother about armor type or damage type which and be quite fatal if you ignore it too much same goes to RPGs and FPSs .

So how do you get better , there are 3 ways on how to get better is to research all games need research . How do you research ? Simple . Simply use your creativity and roam unit facts that have a more detailed database on fan based sites and you'll get the ideas , ways and techniques to play . Reseach does not require a state of the art computer or a state of the art talent for gaming so therefore there is not F-ing reason why you can't research all you need is the internet and a computer that can run the internet and it does not cost more than RM200 ( RM99 Streamyx package will give you a free desktop ) .

Secondly is to observe the professionals with most replays having the replay function , watching professional matches in tournament can be found anywhere without any cost from YouTube to official gaming forums they all have replays for all games of all sorts .

Lastly is to play the game , if you don't play the game you'll never be able to understand anything therefore by playing the game for about an hour or two if possible it's all you need to receive whatever infomation and understanding you need about the game you wish to suceed in!

I hope this guide helps you in gaming though short it's a simplified summary on how to get better and these 3 steps are easy , simply and possible to do!

umm bai

Maplestory2 and Maplestory episode 2 ?

Following the post by Tze Chung about MapleStory2 , I'm here to clarify a little bit about the differences .

MapleStory2 is like a whole new Maple , which isn't even open for beta testing yet .

And for MapleStory EPISODE 2 , it's just a SUPER SUPER BIG patch for Maplesea .

I hope I clarified .

Maple Story Episode 2 (TC's opinion)

It's pretty weird that suddenly Asiasoft would develop an incomplete MMORPG and the thing that made MapleStory popular was the fact that it was 2D. Moving into 3D would obviously require more RAM, hard disk space etc. The first two pictures are MapleStory while the bottom two are screenshots from MapleStory 2.
MapleStory became addictive to me because of it's simplicity as a side-scrolling game with "ok" backgrounds. The soundtrack was awesome, the only thing that bugged me was that it was too hard to level up especially when you're at a higher level. That's what resorted me to play private servers.
So, my point is I don't know how well MapleStory2 is going to be better than it's predecessor..

MapleStory Episode 2 ?!!

Hey people , what's up ? (The ceiling of course X) ) .

Declan here . As you all may know , the blog might be in a little hiatus for awhile since we are in the midst of our exams , but not to worry , it ends this Friday !

You might be having a dilemma with the my title , MapleStory . Most of you would have probably played this game , got addicted to it , and quit it .

Well turns out , this highly addictive game just got an UPDATE ! It's now called MapleStory Episode 2 !

MapleStory Ep.2 Changelog :
http://forums.asiasoftsea.net/showthread.php?t=615552

It would be the most detailed changelog that you can find right now , there are mini links there to clink on the find out more about the new content . Just to let you know , the patch is already out , but you must only patch it tomorrow after 6A.M. , since it's that time where they're updating the server . Exams are coming to an End , I might play it awhile and make a nice update review on it .

And lot's more I guess .
Source : http://maple.asiasoftsea.net/discussion/view/qa_on_maplestory_episode_2/
(And no , I didn't rip it all off directly)

I would love to download the new client and play it after the exams , and I would surely update you all about it , I think I still have a level 15 pirate with 30 mil inside?

BTW , Why is it so bad for them to make it dual-language ? BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE LANGUAGE BARRIERS , IT WILL CAUSE HAVOC IN THE MARKET , IT WILL CAUSE MORE VULGARITIES AND CONFUSION . They're literally giving the LALA people power over everything now !

And last but definitely not the least , NEW JOBS ? Knights of Cygnus . I don't know much about it...YET
Good luck with you're exams all ,
Love , Declan .(Brotherly love man...)

Lets take a sneak peak of the very latest Bioshock 2 gameplay! xD!

Calarification .

People , just because your not an admin...YET . Doesn't mean that you should stop being an author of the blog .

One of the authors today came to me during recess telling me that he wanted to make his own Gaming review blog . It had something to do about not being an admin .

HEY! I suggested for this blog to be made...And I made the banner for it too , did I whine about not being an admin and threatening to quit and make my own gaming blog to challenge this one ?

Please , being an admin doesn't mean getting alot of stuff , it means more work , and more responsibilities .

steel series gaming mat review

We all know the companies on top of gaming equipment such as Razer , Microsoft Sidewinder , Logitech G series , and steel series...lets take a little look at my new steel series gaming mat shall we?The price was Rm39.00 for the small size . The steel series gaming mouse mat comes in diffrent sizes big medium and small and oversize . Small sizes are for high sensitivity gamers while big ones are for lower sensitivity gamers . The steel series gaming mat actually gives more traction by slowing down your mouse and therefore giving it control. The aiming becomes more accurate and I've been able to pull off an awesome record of headshots amount of 57 out of 80 zombies in expert mode no mercy first stage.

And why must we have a gaming pad?First off all , the more you play games the more often you slide your mouse on your desk and its gonna rub agains your wood giving it fucked up traction which is SO slippery you mide even miss. And second is the wear and tear on your desk , you might notice for some wooden desk for a long period of time , they will start to have tiny holes , If your lazer detects that hole your aiming while be stuck at a small point and this often sucks. Third of all , we all know that nowadays gaming mouses had teflon feet that is ultra slick and smooth and imagine shuffling it up and down on your desk would increase your mouse's wear and tear and traction is VERY important when it comes to gaming mouses.

ok well my review here is done , AND PLS
If you buy this mousepad...YOU'RE AND IDIOT...IF YOUR PARENTS BROUGHT IT FOR YOU....THAT MEANS THEY HATE YOU!

Left 4 Dead Review Part 1 (Introduction)

Left4Dead, commonly known as L4D is a co-op based FPS (first-person shooter) by Valve Corporation, makers of the award-winning Counter-Strike, Half-Life series, Portal and Team Fortress.

Introduction
There are 4 main characters that the player can take control of. Zoey, Francis, Bill and Louis. The abilities of each character is equal, so there's no point with fighting with a friend to choose over any of these characters.

The goal of the game, which depends on which mode is being played, is generally simple. Rush to the next safehouse. That's normal mode.

In versus mode, there can be 8 human players, 4 on Survivors, 4 on Infected. You can play as Boomer, Tank, Smoker or Hunter while on the Infected side but not as the Witch which is still AI controlled.

In the newest mode, Survival, players have to face hordes of Common Infected and 4 Special Infected at a time. For example: Usually there are only 2 Tanks, but in Survival there can be 2 or more.

The Infected (in case most of you don't know) are the names of the zombies you fight in Left4Dead. Common Infected run at you and start slapping you to your death. In hordes, they are lethal but are relatively weak in small numbers.

There are 4 types of Special Infected:-

Boomer, a big-sized Infected which vomits bile onto Survivors, attracting hordes of Common Infected. Boomers make gurgling sounds and can be heard when nearby. A few shots should take this one out.

Hunter, an Infected which pounces onto Survivors rendering them helpless. The sign that this Infected is near is it's high-pitched scream. This Infected is quite dangerous and once it pounces, another Survivor must help the Survivor that was pounced on.

Smoker, an Infected which grabs Survivors using it's tongue and constricts it's victim. Smokers make coughing sounds and can be heard quite easily. Similar to Hunters, Smokers can render a Survivor helpless until another Survivor shoots the Smoker or it's tongue, which will free the Survivor constricted.

Witch, a female Infected which is always seen on the floor crying. The Witch's crying can be heard from a distance. Witches are provoked when:
1)A Survivor goes too close
2)A Survivor shoots the Witch
3)A Survivor's flashlight shines on the Witch
An effective way to kill the Witch is to have 3 Survivors ready to shoot her while 1 Survivor provokes her.

Tank, this is the final and 5th Special Infected. The Tank has immense strength and is capable of punching cars, or objects towards Survivors, incapacitating them immediately, the Tank can also throw boulders at Survivors, causing great damage. The best way to take down one of these is to throw a Molotov, or aim for it's head.

That's the end of Part 1 of my review, the introduction.

NOTE:TC's L4D review Part 2 will be back with more screenshots.

GAMING RUMORS !

Today on Gaming Rumors ...

Firstly is the X360 and the PS3 controllers , what about them ? Well it seems that the two console giants are planning to make a full body motion controller which means it's like making the a Wii controller version of the 360 and the PS3 and that it's going to be seen on E3 ! Well there's another reason to ditch the mid term test and run to America's E3 !

Second is the not so evil game Overlord which they have just release more juice on it so there is already a trailer and it's most certainly they got this game a sequel .

Third is the new Army of Two sequel's trailer and the sequel to Army of Two is Army of Two : The 40th Day.

Lastly POKEMON is getting more retarded and this is no rumor it's a FACT! :D

Nokia 5320 review

Firstly, this phone's already aging slowly as it was released in 2008. As this is just my review of the phone it's going to be brief but detailed.

Design: The Nokia 5320 XM sports quite a youthful design that appeals to the eye. Although the keys are a little cramped but once you're used to it you can use it while you're blind-folded. However, the "End Call" button is placed too near to the directed buttons (which caused me to minimize a game once while playing) Overall, the phone design is good but the piano finish isn't my fancy because it's a fingerprint magnet.

Performance:
The Nokia 5320 XM runs most applications quite smoothly. It's using Symbian 60 3rd edition. But unfortunately, the phone tends to crash sometimes when it runs too many applications in the background. The music player is quite responsive most of the time but it crashes as well especially when your headphones are plugged in. Once you remove your headphones, the phone becomes responsive again.

Camera:
Not much can be said of the Nokia 5320 XM's 2.0 Megapixel camera. Picture quality is average. Nokia should have put in a 3.2 Megapixel camera which is quite common in most phones these days.

Music:
As this is an XpressMusic phone, it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack that enables you to use headphones of your choice. Sound quality on the loudspeaker is magnificently crisp and clear, and when you are listening on your headphones the sound is clear as well. However, before i updated my phone with the Nokia Software Updater, the music player made a funny "ticking" sound once any music file was played through the loudspeaker. After updating to v4.13 the sound hasn't appeared anymore.

Web browsing:
Web browsing is quite a pleasure on the Nokia 5320 XM. My only grievance is that opening a new window is not customisable. A new browser window can only be opened once you press a link or a pop-up appears. While viewing webpages, you can zoom in and out of the webpage which is quite handy if you're loading a huge page.

Nokia Say and Play:
This phone's supposed highlight, the Nokia Say and Play feature to find songs through either album title, artist or song name can be quite frustrating at times, especially if you can't really pronounce the artist/album title properly. For instance, i said 周杰伦 and Sean Kingston and Usher came out in the list. However i'm not trying to say that this feature will be 100% wrong because when i said 周杰伦 it was the 1st result. It's just that i don't use this feature often although i'm pretty sure there are people who use it.

Conclusion:
The Nokia 5320 XM is a phone worth buying for great sound quality, value for money and a cool design. It's also the cheapest S60 3rd edition XM phone on the market currently.

Hey guys

F.E.A.R Review

ok, i know what you are thinking, the game i'm about to review is really old.But still, it's a nice game and it's not outdated to me.So here goes:

Game Play
Score 8 Alright the game play is pretty tight, You get to use some pretty cool weapons at the beginning. You also get Slowmo a really nice wall to take down a few dozen enemies at once. The game also has health and reflex boosters. Which can make you last a lot longer against those tough army clones who are always trying to kill you! Haha, there are some cool weapons at your disposal too. Just imagine a nail gun but it's shooting a 5inch piece of metal at your enemies!!F.E.A.R can be scary at times, so be ready to see bodys fly through windows or images of dead people poping into your mind at random times. Or even that little girl you may have seen in the comericals...

Story line
Score 5 Um okay...the story line is pretty confusing at the first-fourth interval or so of the game. Even I can't get the story until i played the game 2-3 times.F.E.A.R will keep you on the edge of your chair. The game has points that will make you wet your pants, and parts where you will laugh and still wet your pants. F.E.A.R for the PS3 has bonus features. A new bonus mission that shows what happened to a group of people. And much more.=p

Graphics
Score 6 PC quality Graphics. The only thing I would have wanted out of the graphics was it to be a little better, since the PS3 can make some pretty nice images out of most video games. Also damages to buildings will sometimes disapear too quickly, and dead bodies may disapear quickly too.

Overall Score 8
This game is a great action game. The story line can also be fun and scary. This game is a MUST buy.

(sry that i did not post the picture. My connection is too slow.)

Uncharted 2 Release Date

News flash guyz, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be realesed on the 1st of October 2009. It is also confirmed that a online multiplayer feature is added to the sequel.

GAMING RUMORS

A few rumors have been flying around in gaming sites and forums recently here the few JUICY rumors , it may be true and it may be false most probably I'm not very certain whether it's the truth or the lie but it's definitely something .

First up is Resident Evil 5 what about it? Well Capcom wants to release a PC version of Resident Evil 5 late 2009 , also Capcom wants to make PC versions of their latest hit Street Fighter 4 available to the PC to on July 2009!?

Second up is about Valve and their lawsuit against Activision well it turns out that Valve is going to sue Activision due to underpaid royalties to Valve that is worth about 250,000$ not sure why Activision is getting sued but whatever it is , sure is serious though .

Lastly is the new DLC for Bethesda Softwork's lastest game Fallout 3 named Broken Steel probably another add on to keep loyal Fallout 3 players happy! LOL

LEFT 4 DEAD NEW PATCH DETAILS!

I know that Left 4 Dead already launched their new patch a week ago but if you did not know about the SURVIVAL mode and the new map Lighthouse you probably are curious to see what's installed in the new PATCH!

1.New mode : SURVIVAL all choke points are banned from entering . A good example is that when there's no choke points it means that you're out in the open and always can be easily targeted by all special zombies , zombies will come in bigger and bigger as time passes by that means if you can survive long enough it will all soon go down fast as tanks spawns faster and faster as times passes by . ( Rumors have it that the tank spawns multiple times at a rate of 15 seconds a second after 10 minutes of game play )
2.Fixed bugs and glitches
3.Dead Air and Death Toll are now versus mode maps

It's a DLC so that means in order to obtain it you'll need to have a STEAM account and a Left 4 Dead Steam ready copy to update and download this exclusive content although there is already pirated copies that allow you to play this DLC but the downside is you'll need to download Left 4 Dead again. WTF?! :D

Midnight Club : Los Angeles (ps3)

Rockstar has it's upcoming gamed named Midnight Club : Los Angeles...this franchise has been out for the xbox360 and the ps3. Not to be confused with Wangan Midnight :maximum tune 3.This game was the 4th of the Midnight Club franchise.
"I am the almighty driver~~~~"

The story follows while playing as "Mr Nobody".And why did I call him that?Because he HAS no name. Many of the cutscenes are similar to Grand Theft Auto IV and so does the animation. In the first gameplay you get to pick 3 types of cars .The nissan 240x , the Volkswagen Golf GTi , and the Volkswagen sirocoro. All of them were Tuner , Muscle , and Exotic..The game features a HUGE variety of cars and 3 Racing bikes from kawashaki and duggati.

Rockstar has confirmed that the entire map was the REAL map of Los Angeles and Hollywood...NO! NOT BOLLYWOOD!.The graphics was not what i expected and some of the trees look like boxes sometimes.Though the graphics was somewhat like Grand Theft Auto it is infact that Midnight Club runs on a modified engine of GTAIV. Unlike Need For Speed Undercover , It has many civalians walking in and out of the road and VERY realistic considerable traffic. It was dissapointing when you cant bash the fuck out of the civalians on the road because this game was rated 13+.There isn't much swearing though but passive insults were inside of the game. The characters have many colourful personalities , some of them were helpfull and friendly saying "whats up homie?U in for da hood?lets race nigga!" or some will say"Hey slowcoach! get out of ma crib fool!".The anoying part was when your friend kepts calling you nonstop for quest and information you dont wanna know. And it really blocks your radar , that means you cant locate yourself. If u wanna start racing , you have to go to drivers who are crusing in the streets and flash your headlights , then they will race you to that racepoint.Theres even day and night cycle for this map and the climax changes too.Real physics were involved exept the part where you hit a pole or tree you still go through it with a deduction of 5 mph.The roads were Extra skiddy when its raining and the bad part is , theres no smoke coming out from the tired when you do a burnout.

The cars are fully customizeable including the interior. You can pimp your car up with neon , spoilers , write your own numberplate like BEEJ 1337 , car headlights bodies , and paint them with vinyls which make your car fucking sick.In order to unlock cars , you need rep . Rep is obtained from racing street racers or also known as "EXP" to MMORPG players.Rep can be used to unlock body kits , paints , performance parts , and many more . Sadly you can't tune your ride the way you want it.There are few cars which has been taken by game directors and are already modified and also discribed as "DUB edition".

The gameplay controls were a little bit retarded because the right analog stick was used to accelerate but , unlike any other racing games , they let you assign buttons of your own liking. The music tracks were awesome and there were many types of music to be selected to suit your style. There are many types of races like highway sprint , pinkslip races and etc etc. There are no roadblocks or invisible walls like NFS and you have to find your way through the traffic , yellow smoke pops out each time you reach everyone of them to the finish line.Sadly this game dosnt have drag-racing , drift tournaments , and other challenging events experienced on other games . While racing you get to have your own special car abilities like Agro , shockwave , speed breaker , and boost. As example , while equiped with shockwave , go near to your enemies and shock them , giving them an acceleration haywire and cause them to slow down , and agro for smashing cars out of your way . Slipstreams are avalable and also known as drafting and if you stay behind your opponents long enough you will get a free nitrous boost . Although that was unrealistic , it really helps you to catch up with other AIs.To prevent opponents to slipstream you , you can shift your weight and start driving on two wheeles and stop their slipstream.

The enemy AI was extremly challenging and avalable in many types of difficulties.Such as dodging vehicles , smashing you into busses , cornering you ,slipstreaming and many more. The gambling was realistic such as pinkslip races , you cant restart . And the system is foolproof if you off and on your ps3 . Say good bye to your precious car.And you might most likely bang your buck when your house electricity goes off.Online gameplay is also avalable but sadly I havent tried it yet.I had noticed that when you're winning the game just throws alot of traffic at you such as placing 2 busses in front of you . But I dont mean that they spawn in front of you , they just was placed there. In this game , theres even police who wants to shut down street racers just like NFS most wanted , but sadly there's no heat level and the police is more difficult to avoid. You can pull over and pay the parking ticket and You will NEVER go to jail.Or you can escape the cops. The cop evasion system was quite similar to NFS but its just that the police are smarter and faster but theres no heat levels , helicopters , or roadblocks . Its just plain LAPD all the way.

Razer Krait update .

Hi people , for the people who know me , yes , I've been using a Razer Krait , and I made a review on my blog quite a while ago . It's about two months old , and I'm about to make an updated review on it . Enjoy .

I won't be covering much on what I already did .

First off , the claw-grip . It might or might not suit you , period . To me , it doesn't . See , the claw-like grip on the Krait is mainly purposed for RTS games , which means more accuracy . It's accurate alright , I occasionally missed my targets in Dota , but now with the Krait , I never had . HOWEVER , I'm the FPS gamer , I used to be sniping in CSS , where the Krait really worked well , especially when I'm drag shooting with the AWP , the extra DPI really helped . Still , my skills with other "spraying" weapons sucked , I used to be able to crouch at one spot , avoid all the flashes , and do a quick two-shot burst to someones head once I see them with my old 800dpi mouse that came with my com . Even now , I still can't do that with the Krait , and sensitivity isn't the only issue , it seems that I can't maneuver quick enough yet being on target . My fingers are either too big or too small to wield it Claw-Liked .

My Krait is still performing well , it really helps in RTS games . It just doesn't suit me . I get occasional finger strains after long hours of gaming (around 5-6 hours) especially on my fourth finger . The claw like grip style supports accuracy as mentioned above , but palm-grip would give you more comfort .

MMOG Reviews : SuddenAttackSEA ! By Declan .

Have you ever wanted to play an FPS game like Counter-Strike , but you just don't want to buy the game ? Well , here's an online alternative , SuddenAttackSEA . It's published by Asiasoft Pte.Ltd ( Yes , the ones who brought you CabalSEA and MapleSEA) And developed by GameHi . It's "SUPPOSEDLY" the number #1 FPS game in Korea...

I've been playing it for awhile , and I'm about to write a review for it , so enjoy...

The game has "OKAY" graphics , it's nothing compared to games like CSS and COD4 though... although the game is free , it has a Cash Shop ... Which spells Doom to free gamers .

First off , gameplay . Gameplay is like any other FPS games that try to replicate Counter Strike . It's smooth , it hardly lags . It has an option for you to enable "blood" , which is rather unrealistic . Oh , and speaking of realism , this game is far from realistic , you could see the projectile of a sniper rifle moving at a rather slow speed , and before it even reaches the target , the target is dead . Oh yeah , your normal walking speed even with a knife is only slightly faster compared to you holding a knife while crouching and walking in Counter Strike.

The rich pwns the poor . With the Cash Shop , any Noob who has money would be able to own big time , seriously . With guns like the AWP and SOCOM16 only available through Cash , it's no wonder you see noobs having gay killstreaks .

The game practices a "Point" system , where you kill someone and get "Points" which is the in-game currency of SA. You start off with an uber high recoil M16 , and an Uzi(Which is also called the water gun...Don't ask why) , along with a grenade , a knife and a Glock .

SA is rather imbalanced too , other than it's oh so unrealistic weaponry(Seriously , they took into account "Ak's having high recoil" too much , that the AK's damage is so uber high , yet all the recoil does is go straight up , seriously , straight up , it's so friggin easy to control ) There are many exciting maps , but most of them are unbalanced , E.G. In a map called "3rd supply base" , Snipers from the blue team would seriously have a nice time sniping off other players , all they have to do is camp .

The pro's
Free to download and play
Barely lags for Malaysians and Singaporeans
Wide variety of weapons
Lots of players

The con's
Unbalanced gameplay
Grainy graphics
Unrealistic movement speed
Rich people own
Strangely addictive...

To conclude , I would only advise you to play this game if you have nothing better to do , or if your local CS server is lagging . Or If you're looking for a game where you could just own people just by spending a little real life currency , or you have an uber pro talent of shooting heads , then I say to you , play this game . If not , go buy Cod4 or something...

RTS gamers

This post was officially added by CORNMASTER from his blog wtfbbqiztis.blogspot.com as a contribution for this AWESOME blog !

When it comes to playing RTS the people you'll stumble upon are either a friendly one or someone who just wants to OWN you bad! So what kind of RTS gamer are you?

First of all the most common RTS gamer is the turtle gamer this gamer likes to fight units with money . They won't bother to move and neither will he go to you they just stand there with his base all cramp up and when you rush them you'll lose more units than them because them base is probably filled with useless and useful units and tons of turrets . The counter? Artileries and superweapons will kill that cramp minded person and will eventually grant you victory.

Second is the sneaky RTS gamer this gamer will be sneaky , very SNEAKY! They'll use stealth units , cloak units , harrasing units and worst of all they'll blow up your vital points in your base for example say Red Alert 3 if you don't protect your vital buildings say the ore refinary and the construction site it won't be long till you see it sold by your opponent who sends a engineer to rape your economy . The counter? Rush them there's no point in defending agaist the sneaky bastards they'll eventually work a way to get through your defense and besides rushing the sneaky bastards will be cake because most sneaky units can't go frontline like the StarCraft Dark Templars with a UBER damage but a really fragile body.

Third is the thinker whose tactics are unpredictable , the thinkers are great at thinking massivly they'll make thier strategy unpredictable by just spying at his base with scouts and you'll soon find out his strategy when your base is in rubbles . These thinkers are geniuses or insane masterminds they'll be unpredictable and their way of winning is to make you paranoid you'll never know what he'll send to hit you , take Tiberium Wars for example the Nods are known for thier dirt cheap units and the venoms have illusions so whenever you scout thier bases they'll spend a few thousands on fooling you to buy anti airs but instead they are actually doing the opposite of you thus making it your weakness the anti anti airs . The counter? Simply mix your units a mixture of all 3 types anti vehicles , infantry and air but that's not all use guerilla tactics to ensure your big mixed up battalion survives longer because he'll kill the anti types one by one and soon you won't notice you're missing something so do micro your units well.

Fourth is the sidewinder these people find alternatives to taking you down . Rather than assaulting you or ambushing you the sindewinders do something unique either harrasing you to death like the muta-stack in StarCraft or the hit and run twinblade rush in Red Alert 3 these people are not the friendliest people in-game due to thier odd gameplay which makes them a less depending team player so don't expect big guns from them they'll just use small weapons that make big difference. The counter? Use something that kills massive amounts of harrasing units like the Science Vessel's irradiate which kill muta-stacks like eating cake or like Red Alert 3 simply make your base harras proof by placing turrents strategicly.

Lastly is the your worst nightmare the AGGRESOR! These people are insanly aggresive during gameplay only they may be friendly on the outside but when it comes to a friendly 1v1 or a 2v2 these people just can't die . They are masters of micro and macro and a anything goes attitude these people dive into the heap of danger just you make you paranoide and rush you just to make you breathe faster they use guerilla tactics and then rush you with a heap of missle , a few hundreds of artilery shells and then to top it off the cherry on top of a good sundae a big massive imprevious to small guns tank like Company of Heroes's Tiger Ace , the Red Alert 3's Apocalype tank or the insane MOTHER F-er of StarCraft a big bad fully upgraded , fully researched Battlecruiser with a mind whopping 29DPS , 250 EN , and a bad ass armor of 9 makes it uber gay. The counter? Keep pushing him off the ledge ensure you take most of their resources because that's where they get thier power from mindless spending in resources !

So now that you know about the five common people in RTS what kind of RTS gamer are you and your friends? :D

CORNMASTER out! :D

GAMING MOUSE!

This post was officially added by CORNMASTER from his blog wtfbbqiztis.blogspot.com as a contribution for this AWESOME blog !

Today I'm going to talk about mouse for gaming . First of all why would you spend money on such a high performance mouse? Why not get some cheap desktop mouse ... the answer is simple
1. You don't want a sluggish cursor being dragged around and you definitely want to play much better at games .
2. You want comfort and smooth gliding you don't want some cheap WHAT THE F-! mouse with rubber or some cheap materials below your mouse instead of Teflon coating ( the ones on non-stick frying pans ) giving you some insane traction thus making gaming F-ed up
3. You want a mouse that makes your hand suitable with the mouse like wearing a glove you don't want a glove too big or too small , a glove that is for safety purposes or warming purposes and like a gaming mouse you want a mouse that have a size your hand feel great with and a mouse shape like something you feel good with and comfortable with.

So to choose the right mouse you have to follow the 3 factors of what makes the gaming mouse perfect for you the first is DPI or dot per inch meaning that if it's 2000 DPI it means that it will move faster by how much DPI you have for example let's say a 5 cm drag from point A-B with a 1000 DPI mouse those cheap ones and the 2000 DPI mouse like the common Razers and Steel Series mouses . So the 1000 DPI mouse would take at least half a second with high sensivity and if you don't know that's bad because setting the game sensivity higher does not mean that your DPI is higher it means that it's making your mouse DPI move faster thus making your game skip frames so that it makes your cursor faster but that makes your game get hiccups and making your accuracy on clicking less accurate.

Notice the odd and totally retarded picture that shows what happens to the optic laser when you set your sensivity too high and your DPI is too low it clearly shows that with a wider laser you have better pricision reading for your mouse therefore making gaming easier (it's just a simplified saying for those with a shallow knowledge to understand on how mouse works )

Next is the mouse surface notice that cheap mouse have cheap base just like shoes you need soles to walk better and special soles to play sports or for running purposes . You just don't wear a shoes with the wrong type of soles for the wrong purposes therefore you need a good mouse base which is the 4 - 8 circular or some odd shaped material ( rubber , Teflon or some other stuff ) that is stuck on your mouse and no that's not your leftover food stuck onto it so don't go running for your mom's knife to cut is out . Also do ask to touch , see and feel the mouse surface before buying to ensure you're not getting con-ed into buying fake mouses ( there are fake Razers nowadays just like fake phones )

Lastly there's the body of the mouse just like cars you don't want to drive some boxy looking car or a car with such a cramp body that makes the car interior cramp and tight so first of all is to see how you hold a mouse is it too big ? Can your fingers touch both the left and right and let's not forget about the middle mouse and scroll and you scroll up and down properly and click the middle mosue properly too? If you can do all of this then you're 50% done with the mouse handling test , next is to see how many custom buttons there is , the DPI and the surface of the mouse internal memory for the mouse is not really necessary unless you are constantly using other people's computer or you hate to carry a pendrive containing all your customised options and software to enchance your mouse . So first check how many buttons are there ... Steel series have quite a number of custom buttons compared to Razer due to the fact that Steel series mouse focuses on RTS and RPG games that often times you rather have your favorite skill available on one hand instead of putting an offensive skill and a supportive skill on one place why not have both at the same time by using both mouse and keyboard to perform better . Next is DPI how many DPI does it have do you need so much ? To find out simply play 30 - 60 minutes of 3 of your favorite genre games with the mouse if time is not on your side 5 minutes and will do too , see whether you notice any difference between the mouse you once used to play it and the other mouse you'd never used before on the game that way you can find out whether your basic sensivity matches the way you play the game or the mouse you once used was better or the never used before mouse was better than the previous mouse. Lastly is the surface see whether the mouse you hold is according to your specifications , simply glide the mouse over a smooth surface if it's smooth to you then it's good if it's not that smooth but the other stuffs matches you perfectly then get a gaming pad for better glides or faster glides depending on what mouse pad you choose to glide your mouse on.

That's all on my little guide on gaming mouses I hope whatever you read here helps if not then it's not my fault so I recommend going to some other site to find out about getting a good mouse and also all pictures here are stolen except the ugly graph on top the rest are taken without permission but all credits goes to them . HAVE FUN AND HAVE GREAT FRAG SCORES with gaming mouses! :D

Razer lycosa mirror review

Razer introduces the new Lycosa Mirror and Arctosa keyboard for gamers. The Razer Lycosa
Mirror features high gloss mirror finish keytop and anti-ghosting around the WASD gaming cluster to allow more commands to be entered at any one time without the signal failure. It has also Hyperesponse keys for reducing key latency and maximize response.

The Razer Lycosa came in simple packaging, without any excess amounts of plastic. It made a nice change and despite the lack of plastic packaging, it was nicely presented and felt very well protected inside it. Opening up, the good presentation continued with a protective piece of cardboard over the top of the keyboard and a paper pouch containing a "Certificate of Authenticity", some Razer stickers, quick start guide, "Master Guide", driver CD, product catalog and a cleaning cloth - which would later turn out to be essential.(oh and I already used the stickers)

I took the keyboard out and was instantly impressed by its immaculate shiny piano black surface. I instantly noticed that the keyboard didn't just have a single USB cable, but two, as well as microphone and stereo jacks, allowing you to plug a USB device, microphone or earphones directly in to the keyboard. I think this is a good feature to have as earphone wires are rarely long enough to reach an available stereo jack on the computer. But my speakers already had them.

One of the things I dislike most about keyboards is the placement of loads of additional keys, so the first thing I liked about the Razer Lycosa is its simple layout. They low-profile keys feel soft to the touch and have a nice blue glow behind them. The top right of the Lycosa features "Touchpanel media keys", which respond to the lightest touch. These include your basic play, pause, stop, forward and back media keys, as well as two for the volume, the Razer logo (more on that in a minute) and a key for changing the backlight setting. The backlight key does what you'd expect - it allows you to cycle the backlight between on, off and "WASD", which lights just those four keys. And i noticed there's a dim light on Q W E R F v Z X C 1 2 3 4 5 shitft ctrl and tab
I guess those are for gaming perposes 'cos' usually , your equipment , your kinfe and etc etc are around there too.
'can you see it?'

The Razer logo acts as a kind of activation key for the advanced features of the keyboard. Touch the logo in combination with one of the function keys and it changes the profile. Touch it in combination with the Windows key, and the Windows key is disabled, preventing you from accidentally hitting it while scrambling for Ctrl or Alt. The only downside here is that there is no indication that it is disabled, other than it not working - it'd be nice if the backlight behind the Windows keys turned off as well.
In games the Razer feels very responsive with a 1ms response time, thanks to "1000hz Ultrapolling", and the detachable wrist rest feels perfect for games as it slants up to the keyboard very gently. I could find no instructions in either of the two guides on how to remove the wrist rest, however it appears to be done by removing four screws in the base of the keyboard.

Unfortunately, the Razer Lycosa Mirror seems to fall a little when it comes to general typing. While the keys feel soft to the touch and are very responsive and light, the travel on them is a bit too short for me. The caps, num and scroll lock lights also start to become a little annoying when glancing down at the keyboard as they are very bright, even in a lighted room. The corners of the plastic feel a bit rough and sharp too, spoiling what is otherwise a very well polished keyboard.

The Razer driver control software, which allows the creation of profiles and macro keys, is excellent. You are allowed up to 10 profiles, which correspond to the relevant function key on the top of the keyboard when pressed in combination with the Razer logo. Profiles can also be assigned an exe so that the keyboard automatically switches to the relevant profile. So if I set a profile to use 'photoshop.exe', whenever I open Photoshop the keyboard automatically switches to that profile.

Macros are created by clicking a key on the picture of the keyboard, which opens a special panel for editing the macro. You can assign keystrokes, commands such as copy and paste, or simply set it up to launch a program. The interface for macros seems a little daunting at first but quickly feels familiar and easy to use. The software feels really quite powerful and seems to unlock a lot of hidden potential.

The only other problem with the Lycosa Mirror is the same thing that makes it so attractive - the glossy black finish. It is a magnet for finger and hand prints, which explains the included cleaning cloth.

Overall the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition feels like a very polished keyboard. However, some things let it down such as sharp edges and I notice inside the keys the LED glows had an X sign inside of it and I dont really give a shit but I can still live with that

Razer's motto of "For Gamers. By Gamers" definitely applies to this keyboard.
